The organizer of the International Scientific Conference "MaTeDaS 2025 International Scientific Conference on Materials and Technologies for Defense and Security" (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) is the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Rzeszów University of Technology.

3. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of:
a) organization of the Conference – in accordance with Article 6, section 1 letter e of GDPR (performing a task carried out in the public interest, in connection with the implementation of the tasks and mission of the university in the field of education, scientific activity, shaping civic attitudes, as well as participation in social development and creating an economy based on innovation);
b) sending information about subsequent editions of the Conference – in accordance with Article 6, section 1 letter f of GDPR (legitimate interest of the administrator), in connection with the consent expressed during registration to the sending of commercial information resulting from art. 398 of the Act of 12 July 2024 - Electronic Communications Law and the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means;
c) publication of the image as part of the photo report from the Conference – in accordance with Article 6, section 1 letter f of GDPR, the legitimate interest of the administrator, which means informing about the administrator's activities.
4. The Organizer documents the Conference in the form of photographic material. In connection with the above, your image may be published as part of the photo report from the Conference on the Rzeszów University of Technology websites and its official profiles in social media Facebook and Instagram, as well as on the websites of co-organizers/partners/sponsors of the Conference and entities that have assumed patronage over the Conference. The image of the Conference participants in the form of portrait/framed photos may be distributed only if the person has expressed appropriate consent during the registration process for the Conference.
5. Providing personal data is necessary to register for the Conference. Expressing consent to receive information about subsequent editions of the Conference and to the dissemination of the image (portrait photos, cropped) is voluntary and does not affect the registration process for the Conference.
6. In terms of posting photo reports from the Conference on:
a) official profiles of the Rzeszow University of Technology on social networking sites Facebook (privacy policy: https://pl-pl.facebook.com/privacy/policy/) and Instagram (privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388), the co-administrator of personal data is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited;
b) websites of co-organizers/partners/sponsors of the Conference and entities that have taken the Conference under their patronage, these entities may be recipients of personal data in the scope of image. The list of entities is available on the Conference website https://konferencjawmt.prz.edu.pl/
7. The Administrator may entrust the processing of personal data to entities acting on behalf of the Administrator, e.g. an entity providing IT services in the field of servicing and troubleshooting IT systems..
8. Personal data related to the organization of the Conference will be stored for a period of 1 year, counted from the beginning of the year following the end date of the Conference.
9. The remaining data will be stored until you withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data.
10. Conference participants have the right:
a) request access to the content of your data, its rectification, deletion or restriction of processing,
b) object to the processing,
c) lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
